A ray of hope for Oana and Ervin

The "Ana" Foundation and the "Rasunetul" newspaper proved this weekend within the event “The Autumn of Hope” that, together with their warm wishes, the good people stand by the children who are suffering. At the "Bistrita" Restaurant the organizers hosted an event that was meant to raise funds for Oana Valean, a little girl aged 4 who is diagnosed with spastic tetra paresis. Since the age of 6 months she has been frequently going from hospital to hospital and, despite the fact that she understands everything around her, she doesn’t speak, nor walk. Today, Oana is heading towards a clinic from Ukraine where she will receive some treatments costing 3.050 euro. Attila Ervin Pop is 3 years old and is diagnosed with cerebral lesions and epilepsy symptom. Ervin also goes, every two weeks, to Ukraine, to a treatment with magnetic bio resonance, which costs 23.000 euro. The fundraising event started with a speech from the priest Alexandru Vidican and the president of the "Ana" Foundation, Nelu Todireanu.
Many artists joined us at this event, artists such as: Florin Sasarman, Cornelia Ardelean Archiudean, Codrut Bistriteanul, Alexandru Pugna, Alexandru Recolciuc, the band "Axiome". The organizers also initiated an auction during which they put on sale T-shirts with Gloria and "Ana” Foundation, CDs with Cornelia Ardelean, Doinita, Axiome, icons painted on glass signed by Victoria Fatu Nalatiu and the book "On the wing of the sky" by Menut Maximinian. It was a promising beginning, each of the two children receiving 1.000 euro and the promise that the initiators of this event will stand by them from now on and that they will also present the children’s situations both in the local mass-media and to the big companies, so that together they will succeed in bringing a ray of hope in the life of these families.
