The official opening of the Children’s Playgrounds from the Areni Park took place on Friday, at 4 P.M. It is the first of the five playgrounds for children opened by the City Hall from Suceava and the Local Council, together with the “Ana� Foundation and the Juventus Association. Hundreds of children, parents and grandparents were present at the event. The mayor Ion Lungu informed the people about the events that will take place with the occasion of Christmas Days and the New Year’s Eve, events organized by the City Hall.
The children sang songs and carols and received presents from Santa Claus or from the mayor Ion Lungu and the vice mayor Angela Zarojanu. During the following days, the City Hall from Suceava will open the Children’s Playgrounds from the Burdujeni, Iţcani, George Enescu and Obcini headquarters. According to mayor Ion Lungu, the City Hall from Suceava, together with the “Anaâ€� Foundation and the Juventus Association, offered the children present at the event over 5.700 presents.
