Hundreds of children of all ages gathered on Saturday in front of the Trade Union Cultural House to celebrate the 1st of June. The bad weather didn’t keep the little ones away from the presents prepared for them by the organizers of the event: the “Ana� Foundation, the Juventus Association, The City Hall, the Local Council, the County Education Department and the County Police Department from Suceava.
The organizers offered the little children almost 500 presents (sweets, toys, school materials). Betty Ice also offered over 500 icecreams and balloons. Roller contests were also organized. The bravest children got up on the stage to sing and recite poems. Their courage and talent was rewarded by the organizers.
Last week, in the schools and kindergartens from Suceava there were given 6000 free tombola tickets. The lot took place on Saturday, on the stage from the centre of the town. The lucky winners went home with prizes of 113 lei each. The “Ana� Foundation gave the biggest prize – a bike.
Besides presents, balloons and icecreams the little ones could also watch a show offered by the children from the Children’s Palace from Suceava. The band I- Dentic was also present on stage.
One white ball was given to the mayor on the young people, to the children’s mayor and to the representatives of the Local Children and Youngsters Council, which were involved in organizing this event.
